4.8 or 4.9?

Is 4.9 more labor for a duel-core processor to handle?

If one upgrades, but finds that 4.8 is operating better (or preferable), can one downgrade to 4.8?

If so, how?  If not...well...that's why I want to know if 4.9 is a good idea.

    No; you can`t downgrade (only if you have a backup).

     

    I don`t think 4.9 has other specifications than 4.8.

    I run a quad core and don`t see any difference in the performance between 4.8 and 4.9.

    You can install the 4.9 beta if you want to try it while keeping 4.8 installed.
