Sci-Fi Fabrics Iray Shaders and DG Iray Sci-Fi Surface Lights Shader 2

I purchaced these 2 neat-looking products, but am having trouble getting them to work.

Do they ewquire 4.9 to run, instead of 4.8?

Does anyone know the correct steps to take?

Right now, I want to use SF FABRICS to create the Tron look- SFF Abstract 2 (bottom left of picture)- to enhance some clothing.

I'd also like to apply the look to a figure- their skin.

Anyone know what steps I should take?

I used a Jersey dress to test the product. I momentarily turned some feet into neon blue, but couldn't repeat it.

I turned the dress int0 a glowing blue, but cannot produce a pattern.

Anyone used Fabrics before?  Or know how I can achieve these 2 goals?- cloths- a figure- neon tron surfaces.

Generally you have to (this may be basic for you) :

    1. Select the item or part of the item (sleeve, skirt, etc)

    2. Go to Surfaces Tab

    3. Select the material zone

    4. Find the shader you want

    5. if you don't want to replace the texture, hold the Ooption key (PC) and double click the shader. Select IGNORE for the Images dropdown.

    6. Otherwise just double click the shader.

    7. Adjust tiling, lights color etc.

    Make sense?

    THANKS!  AND THANKS!

I'll get to work, at first op!

If it works in 4.8, I'll stay with that, for today.

If I have to upgrade, I will.

I have 4.8 and these shaders and they work fine.

Just remember to select the object in the viewport and also the surface of the selected object in the sufaces tab, then double click the shader you want.

These are specifically for Iray rendering, so make sure to render with Iray or they could come out looking a bit weird!
