DS4.9 - setting up huge content library

I'm an eternal newbie so I'll ask this here...

I have a terabyte of 15 years of content and I just spent all 2015 organizing into my own folder category system in DS4.7 then 4.8... never intending to use Smart Content.

If I upgrade to DS4.9 is there a way to retain this unique library organization?

    Do you mean rearranging files and folders on disk, or using categories inside DS?

    I usually download with DIM... then go into windows explorer and rearrnage the folders as I like. So like Genesis 3 Female has a clothing folder DIM dumps all clothes into... I created subfolders... fantasy, modern, asian... etc... which are my own created subfolders within the 'clothing' folder itself.

    I've done this all over the place... moving all 'architecture' elements..to 'props' creating a 'settings' subfolder and then deleting the architecture folder altogether.

    This kind of subfolder categories all over inside DS4.8

    The Poser 'runtime' folder inside DS4.8 I've done the same to the 'libraries' but left alone the textures and geometry folders

    If your doing it all at the file system level then nothing will change, they'll still show up the same in Content Library > Daz Studio Formats and Content Library > Poser Formats.  Only items that are installed through Daz Connect are different.
