how to make pose preset to rotate along body axis?(edit)

correct title loatate to rotate @@

we can rotate genesis not only by genesis root node , also "hip node."

it seems useful, but why hip node can not rotate by body axis?

when I save the pose presets with some option, and apply it to genesis with other pozing,
many case the effect is different what I hope.

eg Now genesis is in the air, and the body line is diagonary to the vertical (y)axis.

I want to rotate genesis 30 degree along center axis head to the foots (twist full body)
by pose preset. not move hip translation in the air. not want absolutely rotation of Y axis.

or when genesis lie on bed with bad manner. his body axis is not horizontality .
his head face to the northeast.

I hope rotate 180 degree along to body axis by saved preset,
and to lie genesis stomach on bed without translation move.

but I can not save and apply the relative rotation along body axis.

I think it is better if we can rotate genesis body along to his body axis by hip node.

it means that,,,,,,

1) we decide genesis base positon and body axis direction by genesis root node.

2 )next we pose genesis full body by hip rotation and translation along to his body axis,,

if it will cause many problem,,

I hope, apply another parameter about full body(object) in ds 4.5
or make option change rotation way about root or hip.

a)turn right(+),
b)rotate forward, (like somersault move)(-)
c)rotate like clock hands (+)
(I can not find good word for the last rotation,,)

by the new parameters, (body axis rotation )
we can rotate figure along to his body axis which was decided by root genesis node.
and we can save it as pose preset.

or I missed something, and if there are already such tool or another way to make pose preset
along body axis rotation?

    Hi kitakoredaz...

    When you pose Genesis or any figure by the root node, you are setting it's position in the 'World Space'. So when you save the pose preset and then later apply it to a figure, the figure will then position to that spot in the 'World Space'.

    When you pose off of the 'Hip', then you are posing in 'Local Space', and where ever your figure may be in the scene, when you apply the pose preset, it will pose relative to the figures 'Local Space'.

    Now as far as rotating along the figures axis' , well, off of the 'Hip' only the 'Y-Axis' follows the figures axis'. The X and Z axis' still follow the 'World Space' axis'. Don't really know if that is a bug or an oversight though.

    Hi niccipb I know what you saying.

    I save with no translation of root usually, so if I save hip rotation or hip translation,
    it become reratively move.

    but i thought only we can make and save rerative rotation from X,Y,Z axis of the world.
    (of course without hip and root node translation option)

    I just see, the axis arrow (red green blue) of each node,and I now understand by your guide
    hip Y rotate along genesis yaxis! in parameter,,,

    but it seems so strange,, only y rotation is along body, and other rotation is along world axis,,):roll:
    so my preset oftne rotated where I did not suppose to,,,

    even if it is a bag, I hope to rotate with body axis reratively about X axis , Z axis, too.
    more bug about X and Z,, please need! about this case,,,

    or remove bug,, and give me 3 way rotation by body axis!!!

    oh,, I found,,, another way. thanks much niccipb,,

    if I select abdomen and Plevis at once, and rotate same way,
    and save only the rotation of two nodes,,

    the pose preset can rotate genesis full body relatively along body axis,,

    but It may need keeping "limits off" , and after apply pose, the value of rotatieon
    may be complexed to set another rotatieon of each node move.

    after all, I hope make more bug or remove bug then, three way lotation by hip along body axis,,

    request pleaaaase,,, someone,,with good english,,
