Iray (Scene Traversal) - Continually initializing during Render

Hi Peeps,

I'm wodering if anyone's seen this before. I've using Daz for over 6 years now and never seen it. After starting the render, I get the following:

Compiling Shaders - 0/1

And it goes on. Every few interations it does a Scene Traversal. I can't find any references for this online, so wasn't sure what it's doing. It doesn't SEEM to be slowing things down very much, but it's bothering me as it makes me question if anything has gone wrong.

This occurs on all my scenes, so it's not something in the scene which is causing the issues. I have the latest drivers. The log file gives no reason I can see.

The only change was upgrading to Premium, so I'm not sure if this is a Premium thing.

edit: I'm told by someone else this is normal and happens all the time, but I watch my renders' iterations so I can prematurely cancel them sometimes at set levels (for animations I like varying levels of "finished" so things sort of "move") and I've never seen this pattern before. I always watch the iterations tick by.

Anyone seen this one before? Is it normal for you?

I've noticed this as well; it seems to have started with DS 4.23. The odd thing is that my renders seem to be going a bit faster, though I don't have any data to back that up.
