No Mikey 9 Vicky 9 Paired Bundles?

Are there going to be Mikey 9 Vicky 9 Paired Bundles? I would like one for the the bases. I might as well turn this into a two part post. With the release of Mikey 9, hopefully we will see Hiro 9.

Anime Starter and Mega bundles were released years after the figures included in them, as a themed collection bundle. There might also be a few more recent "staff pick" bundles with several core figures in them.

You usually don't get that kind of bundle on release.

I think the Mega Bundle - Marley and Herlinda for Genesis 9  was released at the same time as the bundles for the individual charcters were released.

Neither Marley nor Herlinda are core characters though.

I'm not saying it could not happen, it's just really unlikely.

I hope it does. I think people are more like to get them both if they came in a bundle.

Not really.  You're forgetting that female figures greatly outsell male products, so while it might somewhat boost Mikey 9's sales, it would be far more damaging to VIcky 9's.  Not to mention that, as G9 figures, they can each be morphed into an opposite sex version, and Vicky 9 comes with mats for the male anatomy.

That's why I said get them both. I have them both in my cart and they are 34.99 each. I also have the Genesis 9 Toon Essential Shapes Bundle and that thing is only 38.49.

I got about a $13 discount from $31 down to $18 for the Anime school/motobike/... bundle when I bought it at the same time as the $20 Mikey 9 bundle.

First, the Toon Essential Shapes bundle contains only three items, whereas the Vicky 9 and Mikey 9 each contain five items, so they're both actually discounted a bit more than the TES.  Second, I think you missed what I was saying, which is that while we all would love for everything thing to be cheaper, one has to look at it from a DAZ marketing point of view, as DAZ is a business.  So, in that case, how much sense does it make to severely discount Vicky 9 in order to sell an also discounted Mikey 9 if the end result is that they'll probably make just as much off the sale of the Vicky 9 bundle by herself?  And keep in mind, that doesn't just affect new sales going forward, as repackaging the two as a discounted bundle NOW will cost DAZ even more money, as a large portion of the people who were going to buy Vicky 9 have already done so in the month since she was released.  Effectively dropping Vicky9's price by putting her in a dual pack for a lower cost so quickly after her initial release will cause many of the people who have already bought her to return her in order to get the "cheaper" version in the two pack, creating negative cash flow, while the ones who have run out of return time will feel like they got the short end of the stick.  And that's not even taking into account the fact that DAZ was heavily pushing the Vicky 9 bundle as the item to use their Premier coupon on, so there will be a lot of people upset that using their "Free" coupon on that Vicky 9 bundle means that they can't get the cheaper version of Mikey 9 now... and again, that will just causes more negative reactions.  Realistically, if they are ever going to release the two together in a combo pack, they either should have waited and released both of the figures together on the same day, or, since they didn't, they will now have to wait a number of months before doing the re-package so that the early purchasers don't feel taken advantage of.
