mt5 file?

I have a materials folder in my poser content and I can only see the icons in the content library if they are .mc6 files. But one of the products has .mt5 files and these are invisible in the content library.

Can I use them in DAZ Studio? can I make them visible somehow in the content library (is there some kind of a file suffix filter?)

Thanks

It does not really work in studio. It is what poser calls a material file but more like what we would call a shader in studio.

but doesn't it just set maps and shader properties like an .mc6 file does? (those work in DAZ Studio after all)

In the main shaders made for one program will not work in another program

MC6 will work in DS as they are Material Collections rather than shaders.

If the MT5 uses textures that match the clothing UV map, open the MT5 in a text editor to find out what texture maps it uses. Use those textue maps to build DS shaders.
