DAZ 4.9 update and can't see ANY Content

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I just got the upgrade to DAZ 4.9 and now cannot see any content in Smart Content Pane or in Content Library.

What is up with that? 

What do I need to do to get my content back and to view it.

Side bar...what is DAZ Connect, haven't seen anything on that.

What does it do and do I have to use it?

    4.9 uses different tables in the database and when you install it it needs to fill the new tables from the old data first, which may take time. Check if it's still in progress, you should see something like "Converted X of Y items" in the lower left corner of the DS window if it is.

     

    DAZ Connect is a new system that enables you to install your content directly from within DS. You don't have to use it unless you have bought some products that are available via connect only.

    Thanks, but not seeing what your talking about. Ran the Database Mantenace but that did not seem to work either.

    Any other ideas?

    Having exactly the same problem, DAZ 4.9 is not migrating my old data just gives an Error Message. Nor can I log into DAZ Connect. Log in Fails even though I am using the same Password I updated an hour ago and used on the IM to down load this patch. As per DAZ remains the most frustrating app I have ever used.
