Does anyone have any ideas on how to reproduce the movement of lights reflected on the skin

Does anyone have any ideas on how to reproduce the movement of lights reflected on the skin as in the attached gif:

    Unfortunately it doesn't play, but if the bars of light are emant to move you would probably want a regular light with some kind of gobo in front of it - e.g. two planes with a gap between them, or a single plane with an opacity map; then either move the plane or move the light behind the plane.

    Yeah, there are probably a few ways to do it. Here is one way with the spotlight's height and width set to some extreme opposites.

  • You started two threads on fairly similar topics (moving a bar of light and having a bar of light mixed with otherr lights) so I merged them into one thread.
