You'll need to have kept a copy of an older version installer (like the files you get when you download off DIM). Uninstall 4.23 using DIM, close DIM, re-open DIM in offline mode with the older version installer in your Download folder, and then reinstall DS 4.22 or whichever version you choose.
Try going back to a system restore point before you installed the new version.
My backups only concerns the paid elements boughts (essentialy the whole Library folder) i never thought that update would mess the application as I see since one week one :{
I checked all the external drives, and I have no binaries, only the rar files to install my props/elements/... and my works...
I saw that asking a ticket to have a 4.22 binary is possible contacting the support team...
The main issue is: UI unresponsive... "scene tab" is empty, clicking on a element doesn't populate the "parameter window", clicking on camera doesn't trigger the viewport to switch to the camera view :{
It's impossible to work... simply...
This not a common issue, so it probably isn't the update directly but rather some incidental issue. Getting an older version of DS therefore probably won't help anyway. Have you tried removing the application settings (%appa%/daz 3d/studio4/) temporarily and see if things then behave?
Greetings,
I got this bug: UI unresponsive when creating/importing scenes with cameras set on them.
How to reproduce: importing .duf files with cameras on them (to open them I have to wipe manually the cameras on each scenes, I got 5,128 scenes with cameras on them and some with more than 20 cameras)
Creating a new scene importing a character, add one camera (it should work without freezing the UI), add a second one (50% of chances to have the UI frozen -- impossible to select a part and modify parameters unless clicking on menu items to have them popped just like assembly stack or return address push/pop) with three or more cams it is 100% of triggering the UI to be frozen.

I already uninstalled/wiped out ALL the DAZ stuff related on the different disks (took me two weeks to reinstall the whole collection and retreive the ressources on the different official sites)... no better results.
I only backuped the .duf and ressources, never thought about the fact that it was impossible to downgrade if upgrade failed or drive to such a mess.
In the logs: no errors, only warnings concerning formulas...
