DIM and passwords

Usually, if I use DIM I use it in offline mode...drop the manually downloaded items in a folder and point DIM to that folder, so I don't need it to keep track of a password for that.

But the other night I wanted to grab something from online and let DIM handle it.  So I fired it up and didn't check the 'offline' box.  That made me have to enter the password.  But the 'Remember Me' box never became 'live', it stayed greyed out and I couldn't check it.  So tonight I tried it again...nope, won't let me keep the password.

    Well, I figured out WHY it isn't keeping the password...but I have no idea HOW.

    The setting 'Keep Password' in the ini file is set to 'False'.

    But I don't remeber there being an option to set it in the UI and haven't manually edited the ini.

    There should be a Remember Me box above the password field in DIM

    Yes...but in the Account ini file is

    [General]AccountTitle=AccountAccount=RememberPassword=falseDownloadPath=K:/Content/3

    And I have no idea how that got set to false...because at false, it won't 'activate' that check box.  It's permanently stuck at not being able to be activated.

    I have the same in my .ini file and it lets me check the box so I don't think that setting is the problem on its own.

    It won't let me check it...either in the UI or the ini.  It's stuck so it won't remeber...so it's the how it got stuck that's bugging me now.  Like I said, I mostly do manual installs, because even still there are things that have mixed case and in Linux/WINE that creates a big mess.  Most things are fine but every once in a while there's something that goes to 'textures' instead of 'Textures' (like 98% of everything).
