Are G8 makeup products suitable for G8.1?

I'm looking for makeup products rated G8.1, such as eyebrows, eye shadow, and lipstick.

I usually use the cosmetics that come with the different characters. But the compatibility effect is very poor.

And almost all cosmetic products are G8 instead of G8.1.

As far as I know, there are differences in facial features between G8 and G8.1, not sure if they are universal?

    The UV for the face region are the same for G8 and G8.1.

    The side/back of the head are different, but that would be outside the normal makeup region.

    So yes, makeup products for G8 should work on G8.1.

    If makeup products are LIE Presets or Diffuse Overlays, G8 products should work for G8.1. But if they're geo-shell makeup, manual tweaking will be needed.

    Another issue is that G8 makeup products were mostly made with Iray Uber shader... so LIE Presets with Iray Uber shader won't directly work on G8.1 characters with PBRSkin shader, manual tweaking may be still needed.

    Diffuse Overlay makeups never work for PBRSkin shader.

    Okay, looks like I have to buy some to test, it sounds like some of them should be ready to use, thanks to the two above for their answers.
