DIM and DS not going where I send it [solved]
Just built a new computer , so installing everything
I wanted it same way I had before, but this time in drive E, not in C:
DIM keeps sending everything into C drive, even after I changed it to E
also I save my scenes in a new folder I created, but yet it won't let me save there
would've been nice to have it set up like I did in 4.6, it was so much more simpler in 4.6, if 4.7 & 4.8 was or is any way how 4.9 is, what a new pain for me to relearn, when I shouldn't need too. I don't get changes are just for change and not in any way a improvement
I'm doing what I can here to remain calm typing this
All I know (now) what you have done after 4.6, has made things worse
I'm sure I'm am missing seeing something, and more likely a simple fix

The only thing tht's different since 4.6 is tht the Daz Connect Library has been added. Can you post screenshots of your Content Directory Manager in DS with DD and Poser formats expanded, and your settings > installation tab from DIM?
sure, be A little bit, still learnning windows 10 , need to see where they stashed paint so I can save the screen shot to jpg
I think I have the SS yopu asked for
also when I start DS, I get thaT error
Can you go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the different formats and post a screenshot?
okay think I did it right this time
oh and I think I fixed that error I mentioned about, that post thingy wasn't installed yet
Okay, so DS is still looking at the C: drive, so you'll need to change those to look at E:.
If you can post the Settings > Installation tab from DIM we can see where it's installing stuff.
I tried changing it to E, but well you'll see
Those are the paths for installing software. For content, click the + sign in the lower left to add a new path. After adding the path, click the pulldown next to "Current:" to switch to your new path.
