Main View window freezing

I just installed the newest version of DAZ Studio.  Now, after 5 to ten minutes, the main view window freezes.  I can click on everything, but nothing changes on the main window.  I'm sure that things are happening, like when I zoom in or out, I'm sure it is, I just can't see it because nothing changes on the screen, it's like a still frame.  Has anyone else had this issue?  My laptop is less than a year old, so I don't think it's that.

What are your system specs? Is daz Studio using a full GPU or an on-CPU GPU, especially one from Intel?

For a CPU I have11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 @ 2.4GHz and for a GPU I have Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

Do you also have an nVidia or AMD card? Intel graphics often have issues, even with fairly basic applications (I have seen Word's display become corrupted) so if you can get another GPU to handle DS that may help.

I don't have a Nvidia or AMD card.  I don't have the money to upgrade my laptop either.  I didn't have any issues with DAZ 4.22.  Is this going to be something I just have to live with now?

I have a question.  I have an installer for 4.22.0.15.  Can I install it?

Yes - if it's the DIM one you will need to work offline so it doesn't see the newer version. Don't forget that is you don't also have a matching installer for nay Daz own-brand plug-ins they will not work (PA plug-ins are generally fine, or at least are not version specific).

I download and install most things manually.  This way, I know where the content is going, whether it's on my laptop's hard drive, or on one of my two external hard drives.  Programs usually on my laptop, and content usually on one of my externals (the one labled No. 2).
