Dforce issue with lines holding cloth

Hello, sorry for the poor title, I do not know how to describe it properly.

I have the classic fur capes for G8 https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-classic-fur-cape-for-genesis-8 and would like to have them draped on the floor (without a figure wearing them).

These blue lines in the area where the clasp is prevent that (see attached pic). What are they called and can I get rid of those?

    From what I can see, these lines are the dForce addon parented to the cape, to keep both side draped around the neck. So maybe removing it will help you get the desired result.

    Thank you for your help. Deleting the dforce addon on the cape works. It drapes nicely. But when you add the fur layers, they seem to hold the cloth in certain areas. I assume they have their own dforce weight maps? I will check that out.
