Non Humanoid Alien Life Forms

So it has been some time since I first saw petipet's animal models (which are the only non Earth animal like alien models in this site as far as I know) and the Lifeform 2748 that was made for Poser and I genuinely think it's about time we get more non humanoid alien 3D models here, or anywhere else for that matter.
Although I understand it, it annoys me that everywhere I search for alien models I get humanoid aliens because not only life forms evolving on other planets would probably evolve nom humanoid bodies, they'd likely evolve with less or more than four limbs as well. The only reason we have tetrapods on Earth is because the lobe finned fish which gave rise to land animals had four fins, and in other planets evolution could follow very different paths. Making only humanoid aliens or aliens with just fout limbs kinfa feels very uncreative if you ask me.

I'd argue that the Space Navigator is a sapient creature, specofically a chemically evolved human as it's clearly meant to be "Third Stage Guild Navigator" from Frank Herbert's "Dune"...based upon the 1984 David Lynch design. Whether or not its anatomy appeals to you is a personal matter I don't debate, but the fetal looking thing has brains to spare.
Tetrapod refers only to the number of limbs, the number of digits is completely unrelated.
I agree
