FG Business office poses
I recently purchased [FG Business office poses] this iabove item and let me say [it is not working at all well].
Looks cool but when you try to pose a figure the figure disapears. It's still there just can't see it in front of you. You have to expand the viewpoint and you find the figure all the way the hell over on the far right corner. So I have to drag the image back. Then to add to the horror, the figure is facing backwards. When I go to "rotate" the image turns in a wide 360 degree arc instead of a tight local arc that thiing roatate all the way around until its out of the viewpoint.
How am I supposed to work with this crap? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or something in the settings card, I don't know.
Anyone else experience this and how can it be fixed?

I assume it is because it pose is placing the character as planned to be in the corresponding environment.
If you hold Ctrl while clicking the pose you will get a dialogue up, where you can untick Translations.
There're two types of Poses in different folders: Anywhere and Go to. If you want to use a Pose onto the figure within FG Business Office, go for using the former... otherwise load the Pose Preset in the latter.
Alternatively, even if you load the poses from Go to folder, you can hold CTRL key before loading the Pose Presets... then uncheck Translation > XYZ
Hello,
They are likely translations placed on the hip bone of the figure. If it's the case, removing them on the Z and X axis should send the figure back to world center. There should be no need to remove the translation on the Y axis outside of extreme cases.
An example of an extrem case, my viewport is in the default position, the figure is nowhere to be seen and they are no translations on the figure itself:
Surprise, everything is on the hip:
As far as I know, they are guidelines to do some part of the posing on the hip, but I don't know to what extent so no idea if the poses you bought (or the one I used which is also from Daz Store) are respecting this guideline or not.
Interactive poses (keeping two figures placed correctly relative to each other) may use the hip bone, and keep the feet on the floor may use the hip bone - placing the figure within the scene should be done with the figure node, not the hip.
It isn'r clear from your description whether there is asn issue with the poses or just a conflict with your current workflow - if you had placed the figure using the hip and the pose zeroed the hip then that would cause the figure to move, but so would moving the figure with one node and the pose moving it with another (the former would put it back at (0,0,0), the latter would double its distance from (0,0,0)) but certainly in the end you seem to be moving the figure with the hip and rotating with the figure node.
I was told by my PA friends years ago, as for making Pose / Animation products in this store, all Transforms should be on Hip node rather than Root node, at least Rotations should not be on Root node.
I did see a few Pose products were wrongly made before... but not on this one. Fugazi1968's pose producs are all good AFAIK ~~
I want to thank you all for your comments addressing my frustrating issue with the business poses. I got the issue resolved and just wanted to tell you all.
thanks again.
