Could not find a valid OpenCL device.

Intel Core i5 11600K

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

Windows 11 Home

DAZ Studio 4.23.0.1

Nvidia Studio Driver 566.36

Wudda happening here? I have a supposedly dForce hair loaded in the scene and a G9 character, and nothing else. Could it be that there is nothing to simulate?

If you go to Simulation Settings > Advanced, your GPU or your CPU should be listed there as Open GL device.

"A valid OpenCL 1.2 device could not be found. Simulation using the dForce engine is not available."

This is what I have on Sim Settings > Advanced.

I have 2 RTX 3060, by the way.

How do you solve that? Is it a limitation of my hardware?

Try a clean installation of Nvidia driver or completely uninstall Nvidia drivers by using DDU firstly then reinstall a fresh new Driver (better Studio driver). Then try dForce simulation again.
