Can't Edit Metadata Anymore (SOLVED, duh ...)

I've recently upgraded to DS 4.23.0.1., and now it seems I can't edit metadata within DS anymore. Any time I try, it tells me to 'select a product in the smart content pane', which I have, but somehow, the program doesn't seem to register this anymore. I'v tried with all kinds of files from all kinds of generations. It just won't work, and now I'm puzzled.

Is there something I'm doing wrong maybe, cause it's been a while since I last messed with metadata? My workflow is: in smart content, left click on a file I want to edit - then go to the hamburger symbol - select "edit metadata" - and from there on, a wiindow used to pop up, which doesn't happen anymore.

Help much appreciated!

EDIT: Stupid me, of course I need to select the PRODUCT, not any single FILE ... All good now, sorry for being a bother!
