Questions about ND Daemonium Horns
So I just can't wrap my head around how ND's Daemonium Horns are supposed to work. The directions say there should be a Little Horns anatomy, but all I can find is the geoshell MAT (the MATs copy to the shell jsut fine but the directions mention Anatomy and the horns in the Anatomy section with the Big Horns so I assume a graft should be loading on the character). The directions mention that I need to copy and paste textures from my character's head to the Head surface on the socket layer and horn anatomy, but that doesn't convert to PBR which a lot of creators use for G9 characters (except Colm Jackson -- love his characters, btw!).
Getting to my questions:
1. What is the process, step by step, for loading the little horns ? Is there or is there not supposed to be Anatomy for the little horns or are they just on a geoshell ?
2. Are the Horns only made for Iray and not compatible with PBR ? If not, is there a convresion process for the horns ? Or would I have to convert the skin ?
I have a skin converter somewhere that I never use (I think), but I like the PBR better than Iray in general, especially since I haven't found a good makeup package for Iray with G9s (anyone who has I'd love to hear about it).
I have used grafts on multiple occassions and they are accompanied by a conversion script which copies the surface, Iray or PBR, from the matching character surface. ND has me do the manual copying, which means the cap will never blend when they are different surface types.
Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me for whomever responds,

Did you check the readme for the file list to see where each file is located?
Hi,
Little horns are a custom morph for G9, so you can select Genesis 9 and apply. I must to go away for next year and i will make a little tutorial with screenshots.
The Iray and PBRSkin Shaders should be available your DAZ Resources. In your content library, under Shader Presets > Iray. There you should see:
Those are the two different ones you need. Based on what you mentioned, Nathy's horns are Iray Uber Base. So if you want to copy-paste the skin of your PBR character, you want first to select the horns (if they are a geograft), then select the surfaces of those horns, then navigate to the Daz resources I showed above and apply the DAZ Iray PBR Skin shader.
That said, if the little horns are morphs, then there should be a shaping preset to apply them to your character, and the geoshell would provide them the color without the need for you to skin match anything.
1 : you select Genesis 9
2 : you use ND Daemonium Little Horns
>Genesis 9 > Anatomy>Nathy-Design>ND Daemonium Horns> 01 Wearable
If you want to change color :
1 : Select ND Daemonia Socket Layer
and choice the material for little horns. If you want to apply a new skin for Genesis 9 apply to G9 and apply to Socket Layer.
Ok. #1 -- I'm so stupid; I've been using the Iray shader to set shaders up for years and never considered PBR would have its own shader as well, LOL.
#2 -- The Socket Layer was what was throwing me off. I thought the Horns would apply on G9 and the Shell would go over them.
Between misunderstanding how to work the two I was getting weird results, but for the life of me couldn't believe that ND's various horns weren't working as surely someone would have said soemthing as there have been several variations.
Thank you both very much for educating me; I really do appreciate it.

Glad you got it working, Hexdrake21 :). I've been using Daz 3d studio for years and I still learn new things almost every day, lol.
