Cant buy Platinum Club by Paypal

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Seems to a Problem with the recurring Payment. I´m from germany and most people like me dont using credit cards cause we have other methods of Payment. How can i solve this problem, is there any workaround? Or do I have to make some settings in my Paypal Account? Sry for my bad english

    I always liked that when I lived in Switerland. I even had businesses send me post letters with rebates when they accidently overcharged me and I really liked the discounts for paying cash. By the time I left they had almost changed over and many more people were using credit cards and the rebates were gone.

    As far as your problem well prepaid credit cards are possible but you must preload them with enough cash and they charge alot of money each time you do that. Another alternatiive, that wasn't in Switzerland and Europe when I moved away, but maybe it is there now, is bank account debit cards by Visa or Mastercard - they work like at credit card except they are really a electronic check - your bank account must have the funds available to use the debit card. You should ask your bank.

    Finally, you should be able to use PayPal to create recurring drafts from your bank account too but if not then but a gift card and use it for store credit. They allow for you to pay for PC with store credit.

    It only comes 3 times or 1 a year maybe DAZ 3D should send an auto-reminder to renew in cases where bought with store credit.

    You should really ask DAZ 3D sales support directly by opening a ticket with them.

    I suggest that your best idea is to contact Sales dept, and explain your problem.   Any suggestions that you get on the forums are just that, CS are the only people who can give you a definitive answer.

    There is an issue with Paypal and re-occuring payments. They usually refuse to process them unless your account has some way to allow them and charge you for it. Not even pre-paid credit cards will work at times. I'm basing myself on experience from a Minecraft server where small annual payments / donations are possible yet an often heard complain is that "it doesn't work through Paypal". And of course caused by what I mentioned here.

    In contrary to what has been said above I'd also suggest to contact Paypal support because they will be able to tell you exactly what is and isn't supported for annual payments. No offense to the Daz support them, but I'd definitely contact Paypal first.
