Reflection Problems DAZ Studio 4.8 3DLight

New to rendering in DAZ Studio 4.8, I hit a snag with reflections in a mirror.  Not sure why the edges are jagged like this.  I tried messing with some of the ray trace and pixel samples settings and it didn't seem to help.  If anyone could let me know what problem I'm having and how to fix it, that would be great.  Thanks.

That is how 3Delight deals reflections. Anti-aliasing occurs on the objects and figures after the reflections have been calculated.

To get a sharp reflection the only way I know is to turn the 'shading rate' up really high 0.2 for example. (the smaller this number the higher the shading rate)
Doing this will really slow down your rendering.

The other way to go is to make the reflection blurry and hide the aliasing that way. You may have to change the mirror surface from the basic shader to the Ubershader to get the 'blurry reflection' options.

Thanks.  Will try that... didn't realize 3DLight had such a basic limitation.  Might switch to iRay...

Simply go to the Render Settings and turn Progressive ON.  Even at the default shading rate of 1.0, you will get better reflections....
