DSON Importer Install

DIM downloaded DSON importer but could not install, claiming path/directory error.

If I install DSON Importer manually, what path should I set to Poser? (Version is Poser 10, default install, system Win 8.1.)

You either need to set Poser up in the Applications tab of the Install manager Preferences (click the gear at top-right, go to Applications tab, click +, set the application name and version, click ... to add the path to the application) or to point the installer to the application folder. The application folder is the location of the Poser.exe or whatever file.

  • Still doesn't work.  DIM insists it needs the path to Poser 2014 (64 bit version), won't accept the path to Poser 10.  Is there more than one DSON Importer?

if it won't accept Poser 10 as a target make sure you are installing the 32 bit version of the DSON Importer, not the 64 bit. Poser 10 is 32 bit only, regardless of your operating system.
