Is running multiple instances of DS 4.9 allowed?
I live in 2 locations and have 2 PCs each end which is useful for back-ups. With DS 4.8 and before it was possible to work on 2 PCs with Daz at once. Is this still possible with DS 4.9? You can open DS 4.9 and login from 2 PCs at once but not carried the experiment from there. Vue for example only lets you run from one PC at a time although you can have a render farm of render cows. I can see arguments both ways. With DS 4.9 and DRM maybe Daz does not want the same software being used by multiple people (which multiple instances could permit). In my family the rest of the family think this obsessive hobby is silly so can't share my files anyway. From users point of view with Iray it can take take days to render a scene and working on another PC whilst this is going on make a better use of time.
Don't really mind either way (was happy to accept Vue limitations) just want to know what the policy is.

AFAIK, according the last time i read the eula, and based on other posts in the forum, you can have the program installed on upto 3 computers, but technically only log in to your account from one at a time.
What i might suggest is to use a file server(third computer) for your files and run the program on the other two computers.
AFAIK, this is perfectly ok according to the EULA, but i may be wrong, so reading it yourself would be a good idea.
Becaue the DRM thing is completely unuseable to me, my work systems are offline and the installation directory is not viable for my workflow and network, i don't have the experience with it. Basically i can't install stuff to the default directory on the c drive due to the size and haven't tested it on a network install.
if i'm wrong on something let me know.

Seems a positive response. No need to worry then. Excess computers useful when you upgrade as you always got something to go back to. Also when you repair your content directory comparing 4.8 and 4.9 side by side useful.
