Lion like mane for M4

Hey, I make a few animalistic humanoid creatures, like werewolves and such. Recently, I've started planning out a werelion, so to speak. Only problem? No mane. :( I was wondering if anyone has found one, or could make one?

I remember another post where the artist did this so it's possible. Probably need some deformers.

OMG that's perfect! Also, I might try the mane from the lion, just to see what it looks like. Though the Leoness M4 gives the deformers and such as well. Omg thank you Adamr001!

Apologies in advance for the lack of info:

In the old forums someone (redfern springs to mind) posted an image where he had repurposed the Versatail (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/versatail-base/74613) as a mane. Unfortunately it's poser only (Uses hair room).

I don't know if he's still around. If so maybe he'll re-post. Or if someone can point me to the archives, I'll look for it.

Well, I found the thread but unfortunately the picture is gone

You can make a link to the image, if it has the html code for it in the old forum. you take the bit that says postimages/origimage_1_3406197.jpg and add it to http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/

So you then get http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/postimages/origimage_1_3406197.jpg which becomes a clickable ink dorectly to the image

Thanks, but I found the thread and the image is gone. I PM'd Redfern and ask him if he can re-post. I tried his trick with the hypertail from the-site-that-will-not-be-linked, but either its not as versatile or I'm not talented enough. I also tried the OLD bushy tail 2 but that doesn't work either.

Check Tauran II by RawArt at DAZ. It has a tail that can be, in a pinch, reappropriated for your purposes, although you will need to do materials yourself for it.
