I wouldn't hold my breath. Vendors have made it clear that modelling for Genesis is super easy as opposed to Gen4 figures which is more demanding.
Do like I do, use both. In the time it takes one vendor to re-create one of these outfits you could be using it in DS4 on Genesis.

People may not wish to, or may not be able to, use DAZ Studio. Wishing for a Poser version of a DS-only product or vice-versa is perfectly legitimate.
Didn't say it wasn't Richard, just giving an alternative. I disliked the DS UI for the longest time, still do, but i really like working with genesis so i deal with it. There are things in Poser 2012 I don't care for either, no app is perfect. BTW as an official spokesperson for DAZ I would think you would encourage DS use.
I agree, using both apps makes life easier. I prefer Studio, but I've got both.
If a Poser plugin is coming, then many Poser-only users would more satisfied shopping here. But it would probably take quite some time to finish a plugin. And some folks don't want to invest in the Genesis Generation.
But if DS4+ vendors saw a lot of demand, for a Gen4 version of something, they could look to partnering with vendors who prefer to rig for Poser. They could each sell their version.
But such deals may end up waiting to see what Poser heaven might be, and how it would affect the market.
Doesn't hurt to ask.
Don't feel bad about not being able to use Genesis products in Poser.. I can't afford to upgrade my computer so the newest version of D|S I can use is 2.3.. I've got Poser 6 installed still so I can make simple props, but the vast majority of products coming out today are useless to me.. I can't even participate in the Platinum Club monthly challenges..
Can we please return to the main topic of this thread, which was about having a poser version of products. I have to admit I would really like to see the Diner waitress made into a poser version for V4. THere is so little clothing for that era, and it would be nice to be able to use it in Poser.

I spent close to 15 grand on Gen 4 content, props, enviroments, etc. Not going to shell out more money on another Generation for software I don't use. There are other places to go, buy gen 4 stuff and once in awhile Daz has something for poser.

I'd like the 3DUniverse Toon Cow for Poser. Poser does scaling now, so it's at least theoretically possible.
As I've said in many threads, no version of DS has ever worked properly on any computer I've had, and I'm done trying. I'm not going to debate Poser vs. DS, or the benefits of either program. Everyone has a preference. Sure, it would be nice to be able to use both, but I can't so I'm asking for product versions that I can use.
@ Cho and earth2d - I would like Poser versions of some of those too.
@ T Jaiman - You're right, it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe some of us will get lucky, and Gen4 versions will be made for some of these things listed here.
I'm not big on toons, but that cow really is cute. I love the Mountain Troll! I wish he was a standalone figure.

Faerydae I've ask also for some of these products to be made avail for poser, Ay-lass i afraid it has fallen on deaf ears.So I gave up asking .I can't buy what I can use so my money like many other poser users sales must not be very important to them.. ... Oh well i got a shit load of older content and can find new content other places to buy. some people still think it worth the effort to make gen4 products & appreciate all the sales they can get.
Seconded. I would also pay handsomely to have Luthbel's Highlander and Corsair outfits for M4. I'd also like the elven sets from the PC for Gen4 (I think one was a DO). I wouldn't mind the GIS outfit, too. Sure, Gen4 has Space Dweller, but GIS is a little different and, IMO, a little cooler. And has Sarsa textures.
