nothing new yet though
Give it tiiiiime... it is a bit like fishing.
So, let's kick our feet up and have some beer.
Rango is on TV. I think it is hysterically funny, an near perfect comedy, but my friends say I need an intervention.
A bear aye? Sounds tempting
*tosses a bottle of Karhu to Spyro*
There we go, us Finns combine that joke into one.
Haz dark bear
It would be cool if you could cross out stuff in posts instead of deleting it altogether.

Karhu beer... Hmmm Tastes great, not bad at all LOL
Question, If either of you happen to know...
When you make clothes for a figure, do I make it a full completed model... eg. Boots... Is it one separate object?... Or is it broken up into sections, like toes, feet, shins?
Whatever you like, man. But if you want to be nice? Make them separate shoes. That way, you can do those "putting shoes on things", with one shoe on the floor.
So, its one complete object I make yeah? (Separate shoes that is)
I'm most skilled in 3ds max, so I was hoping to make it in there and then export it to DAZ as an OBJ file
Pretty much the same as what I do with props.
Yeah, but you prolly want to set up some regions, rigging, and do smoothing and whatnot.
Is that all done in daz once I've make the OBJ?
This is all new to me... But I really wanna make the clothes, cos it's highly unlikely anyone will make exactly what I'm after. I've collected lots of clothing, to mix and match, but almost all of them don't actually fit together all that well.
Saw this on the net. Someone did a mock-up of an old Firesign Theatre routine (think US Monty Python).
Just so u know what I'm intending to make... Is this outfit which I designed for a graphic novel I'm making. I think It would be awesome to be able to create it for 3d!
I know. Just, umm, read that thread and you can also get that clothing rigging kit from store and of course blondie9999's figure tutorial (in store) kicks much butt.
And a couple of tributes I did for Monty Python:
"The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch" and "Whizzo Chocolates" :)

Cool, Thanks Skiriki... I have been eying off that clothing rigging kit... Just wasn't sure if it was just designed for dresses, since all the pics are of dresses lol
Hey I remember that hand grenade from somewhere.
I'm reasonably certain it has uses beyond dresses. :)
What about the Transfer Utility? Also http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/2174/
hehe
I'll thumb you for that.
Yes Thats true. I havent used it yet for anything other than M4 and V4 stuff to Genesis... But Im sure I can learn all about it. I'm just glad Daz is so 'content creator friendly' :cheese:

Is a good toolset. Waiting for animation bits to expand as Studio grows *taps foots* :)
who knows, they might release some cool add ons soon in the sale
