This morning nothing is working
This morning I opened DAZ and loaded G3 and it showed up with no textures, I went into textures tried the default Jean and it said file does not exist. I deleted the DAZ app all together, reinstalled it, reinstalled Genesis 3 basics and G3 still loads without textures and when I try to load any texture I get what is in the screenshot. Wait, I just realized that although I'm clicking on G3, it is loading G2! When I call on the phone, I just get the exchange, no way to talk to tech support and when I send in a ticket, it takes days for a response. Any way someone knows what to do? Thanks...
And I tried again to load the G3 icon and I get this:
And there is a new icon that says G3 but actually loads G2 with no mats... And the pink G3 icon has disappeared completely...

It looks to me like Finder messed with the drive assignments...like the external was dropped and re-added.
I'm on DAZ connect, there's no way to even redownload it. The pink icon was there earlier, then disappeared. But both that and the new icon load G2. I reinstalled DS on my main hard drive...
Where it is installed to isn't going to matter...the settings as to where the content is installed are preserved through reinstalling. So it is still looking for the content folders that are now not being found.
Post the shots of Content Directory Manager...again.

Well, tech support responded to a previous issue and told me to reset the database which is what I'm doing now. It says to save user content check off export which I did, but I have no idea where it is exporting to.... I created a few characters that I would like to reuse so I hope I can find them... God this is complicated, stuff like this never happens in Poser.... I just bought a bunch of DS only products and was ready to create my own character for possible sale, but I can't even get G3 to load. Urrrrrgh! Frustrated!
Note that there a few things that might be causing your problem (depending on your answers to the above questions) but doing the delete/reinstall routine is 99.9% of the time never the answer. Don't bother; all it does is waste time and eat up your download bandwidth.
