My shaders have vanished.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Okay, so I turned on Daz for the first time in a week earlier today. Everythign looked fine until I realized that the shaders were simply not showing up in the Content library. Install manager shows that they're there, but they will not be seen in Content Manager. They don't show up under Products, not when I search for them in Content Manager, but again, DIM says that they shoudl be there.  What the heck is happening, and how do I get them back?

    Are they there in the relevant sub-folder under DAZ Studio Formats>ContentDirectoryUsed ?

    This may sound dumb..But you looked in shader presets not shaders right?

    Are you sure you're looking in the actual Content Library tab? I think the default is to show the Smart Content tab, and there are ways that can go slightly (or not-so-slightly) wrong.

    (The difference is that the Content Library shows a file view of your content, while Smart Content shows a database view. The Smart view is only as good as this database.)
