A really dumb search. Could use help (Solved)

*sigh* I am engaged on a major reorg of my content libraries. I've managed to sort most things, but I've got a lost lamb.
It's a folder of texture addons for a hair. I have no idea what hair it is for since it was one of those things that gets installed under its own vendor name with no clue as to what it's supposed to be matched with. And the vendor name is unclear. It is simply *COLOR_SA*. And I am not recognizing the hair that it is for from the thumbnails since they are small. Here is one of them. I *Think* it may be for SAV's Nykta, but I can't see enough of it to be sure. And "COLORS_SA" doesn't really tell me anything. And there is no such package filed with that hairset in my backups. Others, but not that one.
The dates are 2010 and 2011. Anyone got a clearer Idea than that?

The little that I can see of that hair...it reminds me of Swam's "Verona Hair".....
One thing you could do, is open up the file and see if you recognize anything in it. I've a few hair texture add ons that use the original trans map from the original hair and it's in the file path calling it. It MAY help?
There's no file list listed on the readme for this one so have no idea what they called their files or the filepath to the texture folder......but the figure used in the promos reminds me strongly of your thumbnail there....

We got the Colorations for Sweet Angela free today, but I can't find a hair called "Sweet Angela" anyone know what hair it goes with? Thank you.

Will the COLORation product work with other hairs or just with the no longer available Sweet Angela hair?
I don't know, a lot of hairs do have very similar mapping so it may but I don't know how well.

I don't think the hair textures product will work unless one has Sweet Angela hair installed.
I loaded Victoria 4 and a V4 compatible hair. With the hair selected in the Scene tab and in the Surfaces tab, clicking on the textures produced no response in Daz Studio. Looking at the product page again, I noted that Daz Studio was not listed as Compatible Software but that Poser was. I loaded Poser Pro 11 and the same hair product that I loaded in Daz Studio. I tried to load color preset Color 01 and after a long wait, I got a Poser dialogue window that I needed to locate a particular jpg file. I opened in Notepad++ the .dsa file for the color preset and searched for the file name. It’s a file in the Sweet Angela hair product:
"/Runtime/Textures/SWAM/2011_SweetAngela/SWA_TR2.jpg" .
I selected to skip the file and let the search process continue in Poser. The next file needed was another Sweet Angela hair file:
"/Runtime/Textures/SWAM/2011_SweetAngela/SWA_TR1.jpg" .
It's a DAZ Original that must have been put ino The Vault. It was still available in 2018...
