Camera Wire frame

I'm sure it is here somewhere but I don't know how to state the query.

How do you turn on and off the camera wire frame in the viewport?

Click on the ball next to the camera selector in the upper right corner of the viewport. In the drop down menu, select one of the wireframe choices.

    You misunderstand, I think.

I want to turn OFF the annoying wireframe representation of the camera.

These steps change the representation of the figure(s) in viewport.

Do you mean that you want to remove the wireframe "image" of a camera so you can see the character you are posing correctly? If so, you just need to hide the camera in the Scene tab by clicking on the little "eye" icon next to it. You can still look and render through that camera while it's hidden, it just doesn't appear in the viewport anymore. If you want it back (for example to move it's position while looking though the Perspective or another view) then just click on the "eye" again.

(Edit to clarify and correct typo)

Yes, I misunderstood, but Melanie figured out what you are after.
