How to tell DAZ where to look for textures

I migrated the complete content of my drive to a different drive. I gave DAZ the new location and for normal content it finds everything just fine, but for stuff I retextured it is still looking at the old drive. Previous versions of DAZ allowed you to tell the programm when loading where to look for the missing content, but that function no longer pops up at loading... it just tells me stuff is missing. How can I tell DAZ where to look for the new stuff? I REALLY hate the idea of having to retexture everything by hand, just because I can't tell DAZ to look at the new drive.

Which version of DS? There was a beta that had lost the find missing files option but it was restored and was there in the current build (4.9.2.70).

If you loaded the textures from a fiolder that wasn't in a content directory then DS will have used the absolute path (drive letter/name on) since it cannot then cosntruct a relative path - for flexibility it is best to have your textures in a content directory, usually somewhere in the \Runtime\Textures folder.

  • ok. Thanks. I wasn't on the newest built. Now i can point the stuff to where it is.
