Morph loader advanced from Max to Daz

I searched for help on this but have not been able to find this particular problem. I am sure I am just missing one step. I created an object in Max and imported to DAZ through Figure setup. In max, I made a change to the model, an object translates backward while an object rotates within, exported the object. In DAZ, I used Morph Loader Advanced to load the new model, it worked beautifully. Went back to Max, zeroed the objects back to it's original form and chose two other objects to move and rotate. Object A (see figures) rotates forward while object B translates right, when I do the same steps to import the morph, object A scales down.

Morphs are linear - the application stoes the offset from the base position (the morph deltas) and translates the vertices along a line beween the base position and the morph shape. If you rotate the mesh the vertices will be right only at the extreme values (0 and 1) - in the worst case, a 180 degree rotation, the vertices will all be on top of each other at a setting of 0.5. If you want parts to rotate you need to rig the item as a figure.

Thank you very much, I will try that.

Would it be better to export from Max as a FBX or Object?

I'm not sure it makes a great deal of difference - DS will try to load rigging in an FBX, but I don't know how well it will do for a file from Max.

Thank you for your help. I have imported as a prop and rigged the model, I was hoping I could create a morph that would manipulate two different sub-objects.
