Background Color

I'm sure this has been answered, but I can't find it with the search feature. How do you change the background color in Studio 4.9, so that it stays my chosen color, even when I start a new scene or open the program for the first time? I've changed it in the Environment pane, but it only changes the color in the "camera cube" - outside of the cube remains black.

By camera cube do you mean the Aspect Frame, that shows which area will be rendered? DS 4.7+ have split the old backdrop colour in two - there's the non-rendering viewport background which is set in Window>Style>Customise Colours and which is maintained between sessions and there's the rendering backdrop which iss et with the Environment pane, iss tored (by default) with sceen files and which is not remembered between sessions (or File>New commands).

Yes, the Aspect Frame. Sorry. And thank you for the answer.
