...if RPG chars suddenly start to make love, not war, what the heck are the players supposed to do in that time? :P

What, you don't remember Leisure Suit Larry? (Land of the Lounge Lizards; Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places)....)

That's what those games were all about!

Wow! This one is really great. The theme, composition, lighting, poses and expressions are all wonderful. You really have skills! This looks like a still from a PIXAR movie. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks, Totte, for your appreciation of my Contact image. I don't know how I got that idea. It kind of came together as I threw my items into the scene.

Lady Winterlace, I wasn't thinking book cover when I worked on it, but it really is all about the story to me. The picture alone is not very funny without the story.

In a spirit of optimism, I've made my final pull...
    84 = Merman
    420 = Sport-Trainer Shoe Pack for Genesis
    761 = Cold Life
597 = Songbird ReMix Shorebirds Volume II: Herons & Bitterns

Well, the optimism was nearly unfounded, but I have finally managed to get round to this one, so here goes my last (and probably not my best) entry:

    TAG:MelanieL#7

    Title: Wildlife and Wilder Life

Aidan was a real wildlife enthusiast, but today he spotted more than just shorebirds on the beach...

    Also used:
Aidan skin and K'Nicky hair (Genesis man)

    Multiplane Cyclorama (beach scene)

I see that I have about eight hours left (oh, wait - nine; I forgot about the time-zone difference!), so I'm going to take a stab at another one, especially since I've updated my inventory spreadsheet with all the new stuff I've acquired in the past couple of weeks.

Once again, this is a non-competing render, because I maxed out my 7-render limit several days ago.

    My pull:
1641 - Valeria for V4 (off to a good start; some major babe-age always makes a render more, shall we say, 'visually appealing')
    1327 - Moyra's Lingerie Boutique - Classique (scantily-dressed major babe-age - even better!)
28 - The FREAK (I don't think I've ever used the Freak before; do I even have clothes for him?)
429 - Casual Action Poses for M4 ('Casual action' - Hmm, probably not what I'm thinking, so it should be TOS-safe!)

    So, one last hurrah....

Thinks have gone really crazy here in the last few days! Wow, good to see so many more future RRRR addicts. Ken and Totte, you are beyond hope. Makes me want to do one more, but I am so slow. Too many to comment on. Just a few that I really, really like:
Denny L #1 That is so much fun, just super-nutty!
Totte The letter Home is very moving.
Lady Winterlace #4 It funny and a great composition/render. I usually don't like 'toons but I like this one.
barbult#5 Wonderfully peculiar. I love it!
gopherous#2 Hilarious! I love her expression. I look forward to more from you next time.
Warmblood #1 beautiful. I love the lighting, colors, and the angles.
MelanieL#7 This one is SOOOO funny! I love the mere-guys.

I pulled this (non-competing) but probably won't finish in time:
    Dave Texture for Genesis
    Romance and Flowers Texture
    Lacemaker
    Living Room Collection

2nd pull (hopefully will go faster than the 1st)

Breaking the house - LA vol.6
    Genesis Creature Creator Bundle
    Michael 4 Base
    Gothic Nights

Hmm, not too bad of a pull, M4 is a bit annoying since most of my content is Genesis, and having MFD stuff twice in a row is a bit rough, such is life.

Tag:adacey#2 "Not every princess gets rescued"

Okay, this one ended up being brutal. Breaking the house has an ivy prop that looks really nice but just crippled my machine for rendering, had to drop it to get it to render in time.

Other products used (think this is all of them):

    Breaking the wall
    Lord of Battles
    Slicer
    Hybrid Grunge Shaders
    M4 and V4 skeletons
    Raw Oagre
    Hilly Surround

And just to clarify, there is an M4 base in this scene! I fit almost all of the Lord of Battles armor to M4 and posed M4 seperately from the M4 skeleton. This allowed me to do things like adjust the posing for the armor pieces that were passing through the ground independently of the M4 skeleton.

I cannot presume to speak for Totte, but as for myself...,

Beyond hope? I say..., Never! Beyond redemption..., quite possibly. But beyond hope? Never say never! Hope springs eternal!

    FWIW:

    ---------------------------
The following image has been revised. It is the same image as before with nothing added (in fact I didn't have time to clean up the final jpeg as I did before). I simply removed everything from the original PSD that might be considered violent, including the gun smoke. It should now be acceptable to the PTB. As an academic though, I must say, I find the whole idea of shooting books more repulsive than shooting aliens!

This is my first RRRR Contest. It was a lot of fun and I worked on ONE entry all month rather than submitting a bunch of entries. I do not want to be excluded from the voting at the last moment due to no fault of my own. So here it is, retitled. It was in the serious category before, but has moved somewhat toward the humorous. :)

I agree, Luci. That promo is really over the top. (Didn't stop me from buying the product, though!)

And the 'violence' in the yanked image wasn't all that violent, either. A spurt of green alien blood, big tap-dancin' whoop. I never even located the weapon.

You know, I'm almost halfway tempted to open up a RRRR thread over on Renderotica! Imagine the possibilities!

And now I challenge you to scrub that mental picture out of your heads!

Forensic analysis (yes, another infamous Alien Autopsy) determined that the girl did not deliver the fatal shot. The slime splatter direction and the discovery of two projectiles in the body were inconsistent with a single shooter hypothesis, It was subsequently discovered that an officer from the City Enforcers Office across the street shot the Alien insurgent with his Desert Eagle 150, which bullet he expertly lodged in the extra rigid spine of the creature so as not to injure a citizen protecting pre-ultratech history.
