Help Select Computer Build for 3Delight Rendering system?

Hark

Gonna have 1 to 3 genesis 3 models, a prop, a black background. 15 minute animations, simple lights.

I will decide to skip a video card, and work with whatever CPU -centric upgrade, under $200
With an intel core i3, 6100 3.6 ghz, and 8GB ram, how long would the above video take?

There are to many variables for anyone to answer that question.  An i3 is a very underpowered CPU, even AMD owners snicker at it.
