Question about pwSurface 2

Is pwSurface 2 a good alternate to have more realistic renders if I don't want to invest in Reality 2 just yet? It's currently on sale and I'm not going for ULTRA-Realsm. I just want my renders to look a lot nicer.

You wont get the exact same result obviously but for rendering in DS3 or DS4 I feel its the best option.

    Here are 30 pwS2 presets I did a few years back - http://www.mediafire.com/?vc2l6wuibcd616f

See the online pwS2 help for an idea of what pwS2 can do - http://www.poseworks.com/shaders/pwsurface2/

pwEffect, not that I use it, is another good Poseworks shader. It has all the same functions of pwGhost plus a lot more.

And in my gallery you will see images done with pwSurface2 and Reality (LuxRender)

Thanks for the links, Matt! The effect I'm really going for is that 5th promo of that Squarel sitting on that beast thing. I love how that render came out. I hope that's a standard preset that's included.

But as I said, I'm not going for ultra-realism. Just want my renders looking a lot nicer. And I think this plugin will give me the kick I need. :)

Edited to add: I have PwGhost and PwEffect already. Love those!

As am I. Haven't played nearly enough with them. I ought to change that. :)
