LAMH: How to make conforming hair

I hope this is the correct forum for this question!

I own LAMH and I would like to use the Mill Dog fur on the dog, in Poser, conformed. I know that's possiable, but I can't get it to work. Could someone please walk me through it?

I am on a Mac, but I use Windows as well.
