Problem finding a file

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hi all,

 

I own Silverscreen Hair (http://www.daz3d.com/silverscreen-hair). DIM even says so and claims that it is installed. However, it never comes up under the, "Hair," tab. Also, when I do a search for it it doesn't show. Its as if DAZ doesn't recognize that its there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail. Any help? I'd really like to use it with a sci-fi render that I've been working on - its the PERFECT hair for the character in question - but I can't find the darned thing.

    The hair should be in the Content Library under

    Poser Format/My Daz 3d Library/Figure/SilverScreen Hair/

    If you installed the Daz Studio materials (for 3Delight only, probably) they will be in the Content Library under

    Daz Studior Format/My Daz 3d Library/Hair/SilverScreen Hair DS/

    (replace My Daz 3D Library with the folder DIM installs to, if you don't use the default).

    Thanks, but that seems to be the problem - I do use the defaults, so I'm sort of at a loss. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall again and hop ethat that clears things up.
