Transferring V4 Poses to G3F Poses

Is there a product to do this automatically?

Looking for a single program to take it from V4 to G3F, not a V4 to Genesis, Genesis to Gen 2, Gen 2 to Gen 3 sort of ordeal to clarify.

No. You can go V4 to Genesis 2, then Genesis 2 to Genesis 3, but I think that's the best you can do. The Genesis 2 to Genesis 3 is very fast and very simple, definitely not an ordeal. V4 poses  to Genesis 2 poses isn't much of an ordeal either.

Seems like an opportunity for some PA. :)

A DS plugin to do this would be a useful addition to the program. I can  understand that it is not in the economic interests of DAZ to do this (they would prefer to sell new G3f poses rather than recycle old V4 poses which may or maynot be from DAZ3d), however this does seem like an opportunity for a smart PA, as you say.

I'v always felt tht Genesis was essentially the greatest figure in this way as it would accept so much of the legacy content. Of course I understand how the bean counters quickly realized this was not in their best interests of essentially reselling new versions of similar content. Too bad though. I still use Genesis a lot.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. You can transfer poses from V4 to Genesis, Genesis 2 or Genesis 3. Poses from Genesis to Genesis 2 generally work fine as is, but can also be transferred via a product.  You can do them singly or in a batch. I realize it takes two steps to get form V4 to Genesis 3, but really how is that so much of an issue.

So I don't understand the compliants. Product(s) exist to do what you want.

(Soem PAs ahve already done this).

I'm not complain, just suggesting that a single product that could for instance take a Genesis pose and make a Genesis 3 pose, thereby cutting out a step would be preferable usability. I would like to understand a little bette what you mean by "You can do them singly or in a batch." Is there a script involved that will take the poses in a given folder and update all of them to support say Genesis 2 for instance. I own oboth products I think but haven't had the time to get into them.

There are also some scripts, free, by SGApps available that do a really good job.
