Is there a way to autosave DS scenes

Is there a way to autosave DS scenes so if DS crashes on me during a render or something I would not have to start over again from last manual save?

Nope....but if it does crash, before you restart Studio, jump to the temp folder and see if your image is there.  I usually do a scene save before rendering (often one when I have things mostly 'set' and then one right before the final render).

    no auto save in studio.

The easiest solution i've found is Pontari's recent files plugin.

    http://www.pontari.com/Products/DazStudio/RecentFiles/

setting a short cut key to the "smart save increment" will let you save the scene before you render.

you can always delete the various scene files after, which is what i do.

I'm pretty much in the habit of ctrl+s(changed my short cut from the default save to the incremental so i don't destroy the previous scene), every time i make major changes, and sometimes even minor ones. i just hit the shortcut every 5 minutes or so. the delete out all the added scenes.

There is a paid version on the daz site, but i haven't tested that out.

A "Save scene then render" command would be nice.

    i'll second this one.

be alot faster than ctrl+S, wait, then ctrl+r

After forgetting to save a scene, attempting to render, and then having my computer crash in the middle, I, too, will add my voice to the group wishing that DAZ studio had some sort of autosave function or a save-and-then-render function.  Is there a reason that this has not been implemented? Is it really that difficult to do?

did find an autosave plugin by some guy named Guandalug, but, unsurprisingly, given that it's eight years old, it would not load with the current version of D|S...

do it autosave?  I think it add some option (eg add file  name auto increment number , or render image etc) but I can not find discription, which show it can auto- save (minute base, or when render,

it should save scene)  if you use it,, what is strongpoint of the script you feel?

then Do it really auto-save with set time ot option auto-save when render  ^^;?   If so, I must buy .

I may not need "super" but just hope "auto" to protect scene,, from my  stupid and lazy habit.

I actually forget to save manytimes,,,just render, freeze, or shut-down,,  and lost current scene.

Sorry, I thought that had autosave as an option, but I don't see it in the product description.
