Files created in DAZ 4.9 on Win8.1 machine crashing when opened on Win7 machine
Hello -
This weekend I created several scenes in DAZ 4.9 on my Win8.1 64 Bit laptop. But today when I tried opening any of them in DAZ 4.9 on my Win7 64 Bit desktop machine, I am experiencing problems. Just opening the files drives my CPU usage up to the point that it crashes my computer. Oddly, when checking the process usage in detail, it shows that DAZ is only using about 12% of the CPU, and there are only a couple of other processes using less than 1% of the CPU. So I don't know where the other 50%+ of the CPU usage is coming from - but it drops right back to normal levels if I close the scenes that I created on my laptop.
And it may or may not be related, but several of the textures in some of the models don't render correctly in some of the files. They all use the same figures and textures, and some of them work while others don't.
If anyone has any suggestions on where I can begin looking to try to solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. And I am more than happy to provide details about both machines if and when needed. Thank you!

Could it be that you AV is actively trying to scan them while they are opening?
I honestly have no idea. I know SOME tech stuff when it comes to DAZ, but nowhere near all. How would I go about finding out if what you suggest is happening? And if so, what would I do about it?
For what it's worth, I am not having any trouble with any other files or scenes. Only the ones that I created on the laptop and then later tried to open on the desktop.
