How old do you think she looks?

So, how old do you think she looks? To me, she looks like she's in her early 40's because of the visible wrinkles under her eyes and some not so visible around her mouth.
Note: These renders are NOT mine, they were done by Adam Thwaites.

I think your assessment is about right. Early 40s or late 30s depending on her lifestyle. Is this a new character?
I would guess mid to late 30's with a lack of sleep and/or a hard lifestyle, such as you would expect from a woman who is model-pretty but desperate enough for money to sell photos of herself for texture sourcing.
ouch
Hmm, I suppose she is somewhat new. She is for V4 and for V5 (Genesis). Thanks for answering my question. :)
Hmmm. Well then, I can't use this for the character I had in mind. If I buy her, I'll have to use her in a Mother kind of role or even better...Post Apocolyptic role.
Or use a different skin texture and keep the morph. *LOL*
Thanks for your honest answer SickleYield. :)
I think if the texture was changed out for something with less imperfections her age would go down sharply. She's not a bad looking woman but probably too real in some regards for certain renders. I love the shape of her face but I would probably tune the nose down a tad, but i do that a lot anyway so it's not a statement about this particular model.
Early 30's if she smokes cigarettes. Late 30's otherwise. Of course, a true gentleman never attempts to guess a woman's age.
I would also say early thirties without concealer. Those wrinkles are not all that severe for a woman without concealer, honestly.
Oh, and Raffaela is another fine character from Adam Thwaites available at most-digital-creations.com.
If you do go there, please be warned you may experience tasteful nudity.
I love the shape of her face too. I really love those eyebrows. Nicely arched and black and not too thin either. Just wish that skin texture was more flawless. Thanks for answering. :)
Good thing she's not real....*Eyes shifts* Right? *Hides*
That she is, she is a fine character. :)
Thanks for the warning. That is exactly why I stay away from his website. Way too much nudity.
That is a quick fix in photoshop with the Spot Healing Brush tool, though.
I have the figure and she is a beaut.
You could also do a layer with a light misting of a sample of the under lying color and EVER so slightly tweak the bump with a slight blur just on the under eye portion of the bump map for the face (RaffaelaFaceB.jpg) to eliminate some of the "reality" of the face.
She is a GREAT figure, though.
I am also a BIG fan of Shanti and Aine as well.
She could be any age from 20's to 40's. I'd say young though. She doesn't look that old to me, really. Yeah, she has a few wrinkles/eyebags, but there are youngsters with those and she could be a hard-worker, or a college student who has been hitting the books, or just someone who has that look.
I like the character... But I don't go to that site.
Out of sheer curiosity, why?
Product is great and prices are very reasonable.
ouch
Nothing wrong with it. If you need the cash and you are that nice to look at I feel that you can do a lot worse.
I buy from Adam. I feel that this and other of his characters need a little better HSS shaders (the specular and bump looks off to me) but I like his strand hairs and I ADORE the piano.
Some of his free poses are pornographic, but he censors the icons so one doesn't have to look at them.

I find the ads for content not to my taste. Looks a bit porny to me...
Wow sadly I missed all the porn on his site. I've got two people saying theres porn but my sensor for porn must have failed me. Either I'm getting to old (and lost my ability to well er yeah) or artistic nudes are porn.
Yeah some stuff is suggestive posing but far from *porn* but I won't rule out I missed content there. There is a ton of stuff to look at and it's a bit overwhelming.
Long and short, he doesn't have a lot of *porny* stuff, but the does have a lot of artist nudes. naked people isn't porn, not even in the conservative USA. In churches maybe, but not in court or in places where art is appreciated.
Sorry to derail knight.
Oh and Serene says it looks porny, which I could see, she didn't say there was porn. Sorry.
to sickleyields point, I've missed the free porn poses. But like I said theres tons.
and this
yes i agree with your second statement, but the original statement remains an ouch. Can't change that.
Unfortunately, I don't have Photoshop (can't even run the demo of CS5 on my computer, crashes everytime). Not sure if the GIMP has the Spot healing tool or something similar. And I barely know how to work with layers, so if I bought her I'd need a step by step tutorial to do what your suggesting.
Instead of photoshoping the actual texture, why don't you create an overlay and make a "foundation" makeup. Just use the color picker to match the skin tone, airbrush/intensity/opacity to your preference. If your using DAZ, use the L.I.E. to set it all up. It would mimic real life.
That would be so awesome if it could be made to work. I've never seen a convincing "foundation" for a DS/Poser character!
Um... FYI. My sister and a friend of mine have posed for nude photography. No desperation to it, just good money. I respect them immeasurably for the lives they have lived and appreciate them.
Also my friend does nude modelling for figure drawing class and we appreciate having someone open enough to do so and gladly pay her what she is worth. She is a health nut and not a wrinkle on her.
Making judgments about people you don't really know seems odd coming from you. I think you are a great person and have helped me immeasurably in the past with your thoughtful commentary and insight.
That just caught me by surprise and didn't really seem like you, Sickleyield.
But I guess made a judgement for the positive before knowing you better. :P
Some really good foundation/skin texturing brushes for photoshop can be found here:

Interesting! I like that idea. :) But I have no clue how to do that.
Ooooo, thanks! Ya know what I love about the GIMP? It can use Photoshop brushes! :)
These will come in handy. :)

I've been tinkering with the idea. There are some really great realistic textures out there, unfortunately alot of times their makeup options look terrible because of the fact they didn't bother the hide the imperfections that are normally hidden when a woman wears makeup.
i.e. pores.
I've been think about creating a set of "foundations" to use with V4 for my own use.

No disrespect to anyone's family members or friends was meant. Posing nude for artistic paintings, photos or sketches is not the same as selling photos of yourself on the internet. You can literally see what is being done with your image in that instance, and you know what poses you struck and what kind of photo it will be. You have some dignity and control.
If you sell photos of yourself for texture sourcing, however, you would also have to not care that the pictures of you will be used for skins that will be used in porn. Not art. Not romantic erotica. Someone will be making a render using your skin of a woman being badly hurt in a way intended to be sexually titillating for someone. This is a virtual certainty if it's sold online for rendering purposes.
I personally would have to be extremely desperate.
I like this skin. I would like to see more skins that are like this , I like her lack of makeup and somewhat natural beauty. As models go, she has a more prominent nose which I like and is different than the standard button-nose.
Her full mouth is fairly typical for 3d women, and I like to see something different, but I understand this look is popular.
Thanks for those brushes and tutorials!
The DeviantArt link is nice because the author of those brushes made even more and has some other tutorials. ;)
