How to SAVE the changes of morph settings (background color)

LagrangeLagrange Posts: 111

I created some morphs. I can change the backgoround but when I relaunch Daz, backgrounds are gray again. The exact same way I can't set a pic to the morph.

I found an advice page:

http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/packaging/tutorials/saving_morphs/start

But this totaly doesn't work.

"Edit Mode - First you need to make sure you are able to edit properties. Do this by R-clicking in the Properties Pane and click on Edit mode.

Create New Property - R-click in the Property Pane again, and this time choose “Create New Property

I dont even have such buttons as Properties Pane, Edit mode. There is only Property Hierarchy, totaly different.

Also the instruction is unbeleiveably long. English is not my lang and it is hard to read so many useless information. Can anybody explain simple?

Already wrote to support, it was a week ago. Can you guess what Christina unsweared? She said she doesn't know!

It means the Parameters pane, as in the screenshot. I will flag the typo up for correction..

Well, I tried, it gave some resault but this is not what I need. This thing created a new morph with colored background but it is fully based on the old morph. The new one isn't even a morph, it's only a slider. How can I make it a real one with no dependense?

What are you wanting to do? Spawning a new single morph from multiple other morphs is not a good idea - you may not share the result with others, for free or for money, unless the sub-moprhs are all Merchant resource sets and your use meets the terms of the sets, and you will lose any correction morphs triggered by the component morphs to allow expressions and bends to work correctly.

    Found.

Color the morph, Save as - support asset - morph asset

mark the ones that need to be colored, save them anywhere and then REPLACE the old files with new copies. Replacing is the thing that I didn't do before. Now problem solved.
