Depth Maps for DAZ Studio?

Is there a simple way to generate depth maps for use with DAZ Studio scene renders?  I have tried Age of Armour's Atmospheric Effects cameras and the tutorial by Lantios (which hsa us create the Shader Mixer nodes from scratch) but neither method appears to fully work: the resulting depth map doesn't take any transparency into account.

I have also tried the tutorial listed here:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/63377/render-depth-buffer
But, it also does not take transparency into account.  (Artifacts are left everywhere.)

I have also tried carrying it over to Vue, but cannot find a reliable method by which to match the cameras.  (Vue's depth pass would be perfect!)  Trying to export to Poser -or- Modo ends up with the identical results: as COLLADA, the figure is unposed and items are unconformed, and as OBJ everything is a melted morass on the floor reminiscent of a horror movie.  (I am not kidding.  It is utterly baffling!)

I am currently using DAZ Studio 4.8.0.59 Pro.  Any ideas?  I'm about at my wit's end.  My Google-Fu has failed me. :(  Thank you for reading this far and for any assistance!!!
