Morphs and Full Body Morphs

I am nearing completion of a product and need some assistance. How can I create a morph for a shoe that is a fbm (full body morph) that activates once a certain genesis male or female figure is loaded and the shoe is fitted to the figure. For example.

1. Load G3 and apply Eva 7 to her.

2. Load shoe into scene

3. Create a FBM morph for the shoe that actives when "Eva 7" is applied to Genesis 3 automatically.

I know how to create, mirror, and save morphs in Daz Studio but how to create a morph that auto turns itself on once a character preset is turned on is new to me. Any input is appreciated.

The morph must have the same name (not label, as appears in the Parameters pane, but name, which can be obtained from the Parameter Settings dialogue via the gear icon on the slider).

Thank you for the quick response! I will try this asap.

Load Eva (or whichever character you are creating the FBM for) and fit the shoe to her.

Select the shoe in the scene tab and look at currently used to find the name of the auto generated FBM morph in the parameters pane. Take note of the exact name of that morph, eg FBMEva7.

At this point you might want to export Eva and the shoe to make the appropriate changes to the shoe in your chosen modeller.

Save your custom Eva shoe morph with the exact name of the FMB.

In Daz Studio, set that FBM morph from 100% to zero.

Then use morph loader pro to import your custom FBM morph. Select reverse deformations to yes and overwrite existing to deltas only.

Now dial the FBM to 100 and if all has worked your custom FBM will have replaced the auto generated one.

Finally zero your figures, select shoe and save as support asset-morph asset and drill down the list to select your FBM morph. Save it out and when next loaded your custom FBM should load instead of the auto generated one.

  • Ty Richard and Redz I got the new fbm's to work flawlessly. Thanks again!!!
