Can Cross Dresser convert Genesis clothes to eg fit M4?

Hi, I was wondering if you could convert Genesis clothes to fit eg M4 via Cross Dresser or another way perhaps?

    No, the only route I am aware of uis to export Genesis and the clothing from DS as CR2s, open in Poser 9 or PoserPro 2012 and use PhilC's Wardrobe Wizard plugin - it won't, as far as I know, work with a figure loaded via the DSON importer for Poser so the export from DS>Poser route is the only option.

    In Studio it's actually worth just trying the clothing on the figure, quite a few pieces seem to give acceptable fits (smoothing and collision detection do help), no idea whether that will carry over to Poser.

    Why not just use Genesis with the M4 Iconic Shape?

    Oh :) good question.
    I'm using the stable version of Carrara 8.1something* for commercial work and cannot afford err... hickups..
    during the Carr 8.5 beta testing phase.

    8.5 will be able to use Genesis but the present release version does not. (afaik)
