Possible to install 4.9+ on separate HDD?

I'm still using 4.8 for my work and I'm very happy with it.

 

I've been VERY reluctant to upgrade to 4.9 because of all the problems I've read about.

 

Is it possible to have a dual install of DAZ, keeping 4.8 on my 'C' drive and install 4.9 on my 'D' drive to evaluate its performance... and do so WITHOUT screwing with/up my present 4.8?
