I already did the Ultra Templates, which add a crud-ton of bones for moving skirts around.  What are you wanting that's different from that?

It does if you put muscle morphs on V7, trust me, lol. Keep the ideas coming. I can make morph helpers 'til the cows come home if they're all going to do as well as DeCrackifier currently is!

Oh, if you would fix gen 7 males wih waistband helpers do deal with more ripped abs and wasistlines you would be elevated to sainthood.. I have a constant frustration with the tops of men's pants because I go beyond michael 7 and base male, and the waistlines just look scary.

I know it's for 4.9, but offhand, do you know if DeCrackifier works back in 4.8 too?

  • SickleYieldSickleYield Posts: 7,634
I do not. Probably, but I don't have a way to check- it's very hard to have 2 versions installed in parallel now if one isn't a beta.

It uses Daz's projection morph system, and I don't think Poser has that. Did you use for e.g. Front Fixer or the G2 clothing smoothers and have those work? If they did then this will. If you used only SRMS then no, that's a different technique.

I can use the G2 female breast fixes, is that the one you mean? Not sure if it's called Front Fixer but it works pretty good in PoserPro 2014.

Just wondering if I can use this on Genesis 1 & 2 in Poser. I haven't any problems with other SY fix morphs I've bought in either program so far, does this one work the same way? Really gotta get rid of those wedgies. Ouch!

If you can get G1 and G2 into Poser 2014 or Poser 11, you can easily use the morph brush to 'decrackify' or 'decameltoe'.

    I'm just saying. :o)

    Hey, SickleYield

I'm feeling silly here, but I can't find the morphs for Decrackifier.

I loaded Genesis and put on Casual Jeans, then did a pose to create an extreme wedgie.  I looked for Decrackifier under:

    Content Library
    Daz Studio Formats
    My Daz 3D Library
    People
    Genesis
    Shapes
    SY DeCrackifier

This is all I saw (it was the same with G2 and G3).

I didn't see any morphs under the Parameters or Shaping tabs.  Where do I look?

On Genesis I believe it's parameters- hip - Fixer. It's just called SY DeCrackifier.

    OK, I found it.

However, I'm seeing some mesh distortion.

Smoothing pretty much has to be on even if it's at a low value.  Unless it's an older thing for genesis and smoothing is at 20 samples, then turn it down to 7.

    Thank you!

Funny how I never used smoothing before.  There's so much in D/S that I am constantly picking up new things.  Incidentally, I used a smoothing iteration value of 50.

Ok, I see that picture and I read comments about what's wrong with it from a 3d creator's point of view...

But whenever I go to the beach, I see wedgies like that all around me... so, is there really anything wrong with that picture, from a non-artistic point of view?

Really?  Deep into the butt crack all the way from top to bottom on a bikini bottom that covers the entire butt?  The only ones I can find pics of with mega wedgies are very scanty.  A natural "bikini wedgie" is usually partial, like this:

But in any case there's nothing wrong with having that look in your renders if that's what you want.

Beach wedgies seem to happen most often when females come out of the water...

And usually they are much more convenient to look at than the infamous Yoga Pants Wedgies, usually sported by older and a bit overweight females. Those occasions are sometimes called "(censored) essen Hose auf" ("Behind eats the Pants"; the german version comes from the title of a Rainer Werner Fassbinder movie "Angst essen Seele auf" (Fear eats the Soul)) here in Germany.

I’ve never seen a wedgie like that and at the pool most women’s swimsuits  are subject to the increase weight of the water so they are usually more droopy than wedgie.

You make a butt utility, you spend a lot of time looking at wedgies, lol
