We sacrificed style for comfort. Phew really warmed up in the sun here the past hour or so. If it wasn't so windy I'd think about going to the beach later on. Is a big bright blue sky day here, ideal for lazing under palm trees and dozing off to the sound of surf :)

Curaçao is hard to find here. I think the blue is colouring because Curaçao has no colour I think, but what a kick - half a glass is enough for me haha :)

Why do lots of sci fi space shows and movies have military or trained armed men.

  • ps1borgps1borg Posts: 12,776
    edited November 2012

Theyt belong to the procedural genre? What to do if aliens attack. what's the procedure when a meteor hits, if the world is going to end, if there is an earthquake. That's why zombie movies are such fun, there is no real-life procedure to combat an army of living dead, so writers have to get back to imagining and stop using army training manuals to make scripts :)

Maybe sci-fi writers envision a future that is completely militarized ???

My b/f has just informed me that over the past year, I've become a little bit mean....lol

Is that right? Have I gotten mean?

    ????
